I used to say this to myself all the time. Always just a reminder that I shouldn't dwell.
It's also a comforting thing for me, I guess.
When I was younger, it was just something to say so that I'd stop being angsty or depressed. "No one really cares. No one notices. Bad things happen. Just let it go."
Now, I say it to myself because I know it's true and it's a good reminder. "Bad things happen, but so do good things. Dwelling on bad things doesn't make good things happen. Moments of sadness and anger pass. But so do the moments of happiness and joy. Lingering on any moment prevents you from experiencing the next moment."
I don't remember where I was going with this. But I'm sure it was a positive ending haha.
