Today, I went to my first class (PHIL 57) at 9 for about twenty minutes and then left. Not much happening in that class now. Went to Shiva's place to be with her for a lil while before she had to leave for So Cal.
We went to the school bookstore because there was a 25%-off sale. Very few sweaters that we liked the design of. And most of them were still really expensive. So we ended up not buying anything. Probably will buy something at the end of the semester.
Anyway, light rail to the airport. Shared a few bits of chocolate on the way. Hm, different terminal this time. I got confused XD Airport line was short when we got there and gradually got longer. We said our goodbyes at the entrance to the line.
I was sad ): A weekend without Shiva. How unfamiliar D:
Anyway, I left. Took the light rail straight home. I had planned to go back to campus, but I decided against it. Mother was surprised that I went home so early XP Then she asked me if I had escorted Shiva to the airport. I said yes, and she just replied with "Geez, you two friends are just so nice and loyal to each other." Not sure how I feel about how she said that. I don't know what she might have been implying, if she was implying anything at all.
Been home all day since. Did some reading. Watched "My Soul to Take" (not very entertaining) and "Leaves of Grass" (very entertaining in the hillbilly/Edward Norton kinda way haha).
Just found out that I got into a class that I was waitlisting for. So I have a complete schedule for Spring 2011 :)
Monday/Wednesday
1030-1145 SOCI 163: Social Change (M Rokni)
Tuesday/Thursday
0900-1015 SOCI 105: Qualitative Research Methods (A Leisenring)
1030-1145 SOCI 104: Quantitative Research Methods (C Garcia)
Online
PHIL 134: Computers, Ethics and Society (E Sonnier)
Plan to Add
Tuesday/Thursday
1330-1445 SOCI 116: Global Society (C Cox)
My schedule's gonna be kinda weird next semester. Everything's mostly crammed into Tuesday and Thursday. Especially once I add SOCI 116 on the second day of classes, a Thursday. That's gonna be five classes. I'm hoping I'll be able to handle it because one's an online class and I'm thinking of writing my term paper for SOCI 116 over Winter Break.
Mm, so I'm gonna have three classes (104, 105 & 163) with Shiva XD She's gonna get sick and tired of me XP hahaha jk. How could she? I'm too awesome. But really, this reminds me of high school when people shared the majority of their classes with a few friends.
Anyway, I hope my/our schedule works out for the best. Especially with QTIP and Q&A.
Mm, so much work to do this weekend. Need to finish reading stuff. Write two papers and prepare for two presentations T-T ahhh..
Tomorrow's Thanksgiving. Yay, food. Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving with your families or whomever.
Good night!

Twelfth Night... Steampunk-style...
So this past Saturday evening, Shiva, Brian, Marian, and I went to the University Theatre to watch the play Twelfth Night, steampunk-style :O
We, excluding Brian, walked in the pouring rain across campus XP I stepped in a deep puddle. Wet socks T-T Came a few minutes before the start of the show, but managed to get seats in the third row :D because a girl generously moved over for the four of us.
The play was entertaining. Though, much more physically vulgar than I'd like. A lot of pelvic thrusting and stuff. One of the things I like about Shakespearean plays is that the crude jokes remain crude jokes, not necessarily to be acted out. The way I see it is if you get the dirtiness of the joke, then you get it. If not, then oh well. I don't want physical gestures to tell me what I already understand -__-
Anyway, the acting was good. I liked Festes :P He was silly. He rapped and sang XD And all the characters danced. There were some scenes in which some characters walked or danced silently o_o I wasn't sure what to make of those. Interpretive dance? -shrug-
The scene where Olivia and Cesario/Viola kiss was not unexpected, yet it was. I thought the actresses would pretend to kiss, but they actually kissed :O
Um, what else did I think? Oh, Orsino looked gross >_> I think it was the combination of his messy hair and bristly beard. Did not look attractive to me. His posse, however, was cool haha. They were a bunch of female thugs (or well, one or two were playing guys).
Hm, since this was the last show, the actors and actresses seemed to have all their lines down. Didn't notice any moments where someone got stuck at a line. I think at one point someone almost rolled off the stage :O Instead, they managed to just kick a skull or something off the stage.
Oh haha, I recognized one or two of the actors from about two years ago, I think :P The guy who played Sebastian had played the role of a son in Death of a Salesman.
Anyway, that was fun. The four of us walked back across campus. Shiva tried to pull me into giant puddles. The Seventh Street Plaza had like three huge puddles. Ponds. Mini lakes XP I tricked Shiva into stepping into one XD Shiva and Brian play-fought, ran around and stuff.
Shiva, Marian, and I went to 7-11 to rent some movies. Went back to Shiva's. Made DiGiorno pizza and breadsticks. Breadsticks, awesome; pizza, meh, could have been better. Watched "Jonah Hex." I thought it was going to be a good movie 'cause I had read good things about it. But it was not that amazing -_- Waste of a dollar. Sorry. Thought it was gonna be about a guy on a bounty-hunting mission. It technically was, I guess, I dunno, but it wasn't exciting.
Went to sleep. The next day, Sunday, Shiva and I went to a queer-dance committee meeting. Ironed out some details. Date set for February 24 at 8PM. Anyone 18 and over can attend. Theme: Red/White/Black or suits of playing cards :)
After that, Shiva and I watched "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." It was entertaining, gross, exciting, and not as good as we had expected. But it was still worth the dollar haha. We plan to watch the second and third movie -nodnod- I think we'll learn more about the main character in the second movie. Also, she looks pretty cool XP Her character is troubled but likable. Though, a few of the things she does is blehhh -_- But Shiva and I agree that we both like the part where she tattoos a guy -nodnodnod- :P
So that was the weekend. Today was ok. Not much happened, except I found out that I don't have 100W on Wednesday, which means I can escort Shiva on the light rail to the airport :P Should probably not bring much stuff to school on Wednesday.
Have quite a bit of work to do this weekend. Two papers and lots of reading, it seems. Have to do the papers this weekend even though they're both due on the last two days of school. Why? Because I signed up to present on my papers next Monday and Tuesday to get them out of the way. Also, signing up early should encourage me to finish my papers early -nodnodnod- I hope so XD It would be sad if I didn't finish my papers this weekend.
Anything else? Anyone coming home to SJ this weekend? Though, I'm not sure how free I will be to hang out. I will try. Not going Black Friday shopping, sorry. Don't ask me to go to that. I don't want to buy anything nor risk my life for materialism XP haha. Hope no one dies on Friday >_>
Oh, just found out an ST student died yesterday. A junior cheerleader named Jordan. Alcohol was involved. Five students (two ST cheerleaders, three OG boys) crammed into a RAV4. The other four were injured (broken bones and such). I dunno what's gonna happen to the other cheerleader or how she's gonna deal with this because she was the one driving. Anyway, RIP Jordan. Even though I never met you, I know you'll be greatly missed.
People, don't drink and drive. Or rather, drink responsibly please.
Well, that's all I've got to say. Later!

My first formal-ish date....
So on Friday, I went to campus to hang out with Shiva. I went with her to our friends Killol and Phil's place. She had been hanging out with them, eating dinner with their friends. Killol kept offering food. I would have eaten them if Mother hadn't been stuffing me with food all day that day. A Double-Double with a strawberry shake and fries. And Mother made me eat her fries too. Then she made me eat porridge. Just way too much food for one day @_@
After hanging out Killol's and Phil's place, Maggie came by to pick Shiva and me up. And we hung out in Shiva's room, talking and catching up. It was good :) Learned a bit about what's been going on with some people, like Autumn. Ariane wanted to hang out a bit, but she was busy and Maggie had to go home ): And we didn't get to hang out yesterday.
Anyway, Shiva and I spent Friday night/Saturday morning watching "The Illusionist." That was a good movie. Quite a twist. I like Edward Norton, such a good actor. I wasn't expecting accents though o_o haha.
Saturday, Shiva and I just slept and talked for most of the day. Had an off moment in the afternoon ): Completely my fault.
Then we got up to get ready to go to dinner. I wore a dress shirt, slacks, a tie, and a jacket. Shiva wore a dress just for me :) She looked beautiful. We walked to PF Chang's. Shiva had made reservations for a booth at 7pm, but there were no booths available when we arrived. So we waited. As we waited, one of Shiva's former classmates, who was working there, stopped and talked to us about school and stuff.
Dinner itself was tasty. Vegetarian lettuce wraps, tea (something with peach and apricot), brown rice, coconut curry vegetables, and wok-seared lamb. Service was slow. Apparently, it took an hour and fifteen minutes for us to get our dessert and our check.
Dessert was a birthday chocolate cake in a shot glass that wasn't that bad. That was free. The other two desserts Shiva and I got were tiramisu and a cheesecake in shot glasses. Tasty tiramisu. Two dollars for such a small thing though @_@
Ahaha, when we were eating or waiting (I don't remember), Shiva's classmate passed by, tapped our table, and said, "You two are just so cute!" haha XD At first, I thought, "Wth? Did a stranger just say that to us?" but then I realized it was the friend who was working haha.
Oh, so when I was blowing out the candle on the chocolate cake in a shot glass, Shiva sneakily placed a gift on the table. So I opened it (with a bit of Shiva's help haha). Guess what she got me? XD It's pretty damn awesome. Wrapped in dark green tissue paper and a white ribbon, with a dried rose on top, was -trumpet music- Le Petit Prince! :D I loooove that book. I can't believe she remembered haha. Shiva's amazing :3 When I saw the book, apparently I looked shocked or surprised haha. I was! Ahh, I wanted to get the book so badly after I read it in Madame's class. Ahh, have I mentioned that Shiva is amazing? If I haven't, well, SHIVA IS AMAZING! :O
Anyway, lots of food. We had to take them home because we were stuffed.
Back at Shiva's, Sabrina (roommate) took a few pictures of us. We took a few more before we decided to go to bed.
Oh oh, also, when I walked into Shiva's room, I didn't notice anything. Until Shiva went to go open the window to let some air in. On the window, the words "HAPPY BIRTHDAY THUY" were written. Sabrina told us that Marian had come by and written it. And on Shiva's desk was a note and a gift. She had made Shiva and me a pair of I-don't-actually-know-what-you-call-them (keychain-like thingy?). And I don't know how to describe them. Maybe Shiva will comment to describe them for us haha. But they're images of me and her (though, the one of her doesn't really look like her because apparently Marian had to erase some lines, making the face look rounder). The one of me for her and the one of her for me. They're pretty awesome.
Mm, Shiva and I turned in early (midnight). Kinda wanted to watch a movie, but were too full and exhausted XD
Woke up early today. Didn't really get up until noon though. Strange morning -_- Exciting but depressing dream. Bicycles that fly higher as you pedal faster. Losing people. Or people dying or disappearing. An evil bathroom (like a room where you feel something malevolent in the air). Anyway, yeah, morning was kinda off. But Shiva and I got up and went outside. There was supposed to be a meeting for Shiva to go to, but it wasn't where it was supposed to be. So we went to 7-11 to rent "The Book of Eli." Watched that.
What a twist of an ending. Did not see that coming at all XD Made me want to watch the movie again haha. Maybe I'll watch it again sometime in the future. With what I know now, I would watch the movie with a different mindset. During the movie, I thought the action sequences were good, and the storyline ok. But the ending really WOW-ed me :D or rather us haha. We totally didn't predict the ending.
Anyway, yeah, this weekend was fun, thanks to Shiva :) What an amazing person I have in my life.... I'm sorry I ruined the weekend a lil with my stupidity >_< I'll make it up to you. And I'm also sad that I didn't get to do amazing things for you for your birthday T-T I will though -nodnodnod-

"Firework"
by Katy Perry... I'm totally loving this song. I like the music video that goes with it too, though I guess fireworks (or even sparklers) shooting from your chest is kinda strange/scary. What if you catch on fire? :O
Anyway, it has been a relatively good week. Been trying to get some work done early so that this weekend would be relatively free for fun stuff. Four-day weekends, yay!
Except yesterday, I had to stay home ): because my mom wanted me to rest and stuff. I wasn't feeling all that great. So I spent the day trying to watch movies online, but either the movies stopped working or I plan to watch them at a later time with Shiva :) I watched half of "The Book of Eli" before I decided I wanted to watch it with her. Lots of movies I wanna watch with her :P
So instead of that movie, I watched "Across the Universe" with her (I streamed it online, while she watched the movie file that she has on her drive). It was interesting. I thought I would like it more 'cause I've heard so many good things about it, but I just thought it was ok. I like the song covers haha (Yay, Beatles!).
Hmm, been watching a lot of music videos on YouTube. Don't know what else to do at home other than do homework. But my motivation is still steadily dwindling.
Oh, so this morning, I went to another doctor's appointment to talk to him about my blood test, which I had last Friday. Iron deficiency, I think. In viet, he just told my mom and me that I "lack metal" (literal translation). So yeah, it's safe to assume he means I'm low on iron. So now, my mom's gonna make me eat more red meat XP Meh. Apparently, I haven't been eating that much meat in the past couple of months, which probably explains why I have a slight iron deficiency now.
Hm, so now I have to take an iron supplement twice a day for the next two months. Then I have to get my blood tested again to see if my iron gets back to a normal level. Hope so.
So I'm feeling slightly less than average. But I don't think it's the deficiency. Just not feeling happy with my mom. I know she cares, and I don't even care that she says it's my fault I'm unhealthy because it's true. It's the tone of voice that makes me feel sick. How she raises her voice too. Angry and all. She doesn't need to be angry. Blah...
Oh and homework doesn't help either -_-
Anyway, so tonight and tomorrow, I'ma hopefully spend time with Shiva :3 Well, tonight, I might be hanging out with Maggie :) whom I haven't seen since the summerrrr. So yay. If not tonight, then tomorrow afternoon. And if not tonight, apparently, Shiva and I will eat sushi? And tomorrow night, dinner date for my birthday, yaayyy! ^_^ I haven't been on a date like that before haha.
Also need to write a letter to Brother x_x I've been forgetting. My mom had told him that I already sent him a letter when she visited him on Thursday -_- Now, I feel bad because he's gonna be waiting for my letter T-T I'll write him his letter tonight or tomorrow and send it as soon as possible.
I can't believe it's already been more than two months since he's been in jail. So fast. He's got three more months, hmm. Wonder how things will go when he gets out. He's gonna have to pay his debt to the state and stuff. I hope it works out.
What else? I dunno. Stuff. And stuff. I've been thinking and not thinking about things lately haha. Some deep future-thinking and planning. It's crazy to think that I'll be graduating in about one and a half years.
Registration's opening for next semester. I get to sign up on Wednesday at 18h00. I hope all the classes I want will still be open. I really want them. Five classes. Well, four, but I know I can add one later for sure. Four sociology courses, one philosophy. Might switch out a sociology course for a linguistics course. But I'm really trying to get three sociology classes with Shiva haha. We'd see each other sooo often XP
-crosses fingers- I want those classes....
Oh, and damn, I can't believe tuition's gonna go up to $4884 next Fall. It's going up 5% for Spring 2011, and another 10% for Fall 2011. It's friggin' nuts! I'm lucky I get financial aid, but seriously what the hell? I don't know how tuition raises help much. They're just making it harder for students to get into college and stay in college. I wonder how much of a salary cut the bourgeois administrators have to get XP
Bleh. Anyway, four more weeks of classes and a week of finals, yay. Six-ish weeks of winter break. Can't wait for this semester to be over. It's been fun with Shiva and friends. But school has not been that fun. But I guess I've learned a great deal in my Social Theory class :) It's taken over my life haha.
Anyway, that's all for now. Hope all is well with you.

First week of November 2010
So this week has been ok.
Shiva told people to sing Happy Birthday to me o_o; On Tuesday, she and Cathy sang to me hahaha. How awkward. On Wednesday, she got whoever came to QTIP to sing to me XP
On Wednesday, in QTIP, people played a game with a cereal box that had the top cut off. A player is supposed to try to pick up the box with his or her mouth without touching the ground with his or her arms or knees. Then Billy like surprised all of us with his amazing picking-up-cereal-box skills hahaha. There was like less than half an inch left. And he got it O_O Then Shiva cut it so that there was like less than a quarter inch or something, and he still got it. Amazing! haha.
Yesterday, in Q&A, Shiva led the meeting and explained Diwali. I helped demonstrate a dance <_< the garba... That was interesting XP There were sweets. Oh, Shiva taught people a simple version of the dance. That was chaotic but funny haha.
Mm, so yesterday morning, Shiva and I took the Social Theory midterm #2. She seems to be confident about her exam. I was and am not. Though, I guess I'm a lil bit more confident now, thanks to Shiva. But yesterday morning, after we left the classroom, I freaked out a bit on the inside. I so wasn't able to go to my next class T-T
Oh, anyway, earlier this week, I talked to Prof Cox (Shiva's SOCI 116 prof) about taking his course next semester. He said he would definitely add me if I wasn't able to enroll in the course. And damn, I totally should have talked to him at the beginning of the semester and be like "Can I do all the work this semester and get credit for it next semester?" haha XD That could have worked. Oh well.
Anyway, this weekend, I'm gonna try to get a bunch of work done. Like three papers. Maybe not XP More like a short paper due on Tuesday. And hopefully get a lot of my two research papers done.
Sometime next weekend, I will try to hang out with Maggie (weekend? We gotta celebrate your birthday). And also with Tuan and Josh (Saw 7!). And with Shiva. She wants to celebrate my birthday :3
OMG, why is it already November? :O And why is it hot in November? Wth? -_- Where are my favorite cold and rainy days?

Halloween fun....
What do I remember from the past week?
...
Last Monday and Tuesday are totally gone from memory.
Wednesday the 27th, I had a midterm in PHIL 57. It was more challenging than I expected XP I forgot something about truth tables and had to go back to fix it. I had thought I would be out after thirty minutes at most, but I ended up spending almost all the class time fixing truth tables -_- How sad.
For QTIP, there was supposed to be a movie (Hocus Pocus) and a potluck. I brought biscotti haha. And a can of Monster, which was Brother's. Mother had wanted to throw it out, but I thought it was a waste. So I brought it to give to someone. Gave it to Rahul. Spent the next fifteen minutes trying to open the can after the tab broke off. Used a pencil, a fork, a paintbrush, and other things. It wouldn't open. How strange. Eventually, Rahul and Shiva pounded a nail into the top of the can twice. White stuff came out o_o Then another guy finally realized that the can didn't have liquid in it; it was a Monster can that was converted into a cannister -_- I thought it was odd that I didn't hear any sloshing. I hadn't really heard of this, so the thought never crossed my mind. But anyway, we destroyed the can, trying to open it haha. Everyone wanted to open it up to see if anything was in there. At first, I refused because it was Brother's. But then I thought it was his fault for leaving the can in the fridge without telling me what it really was. We got it open, and it was empty, except for remnants of weed apparently. Threw away the can and stuff. Went back to the movie. Sadly, I only watched about the first ten minutes of it before I had to leave. Used to love that movie; I'll watch it again sometime on my own -nods-
On Thursday, hmm, my Philosophy of Religion class was talking about reincarnation. When I spoke, I mentioned that one of the writers, who was disputing the Christian notion of resurrection, made me think that her argument could support the higher probability of the existence of zombies than the possibility of Christian resurrection. hahaha zombies XD I can't believe I said that; I can't believe my prof liked my idea and noted it down in her book XD
In Q&A, we had a mummy contest/pageant. That was strange. Though we recycled all the toilet paper, I still think it was a waste. But it was fun, I guess XP Next meeting (this Thursday), Diwali meeting. Festival of Lights? Yeah, it will be interesting...
Mm, Friday morning, I went to the doctor for a check-up. It seems I may have thalassemia o_o Have to get my blood tested sometime this week, probably Friday. Fun.
Anyway, afterward, I went to campus to help Shiva make pumpkin pies for her party. That was fun. Making pumpkin pies is somewhat blargh because you want your food to be good and you don't really know if it will be good.
We also went to BevMo with Marian to buy Buttershot Scnhapps to make butterbeer. Shiva also bought a Japanese beer, Blood, and a mini Bailey's. Back to Shiva's place to finish the pies and prepare for the party.
People who showed up: Marian; Ly and Keith (They left way early); Jay and Veronica (They left early too but later than Ly and Keith); Crystal and Karishma (They left after Jay and Veronica, I think); Craig M; Alisa; Harrison; Jenn; JD (showed up for a lil while, but left to care for a friend at another party); Hannah, Craig R (a guy I hadn't met before), and Luis (They came late, coming off from a shift at Halloween Haunt). I think that was all of us.
I didn't drink much. Some butterbeer (It wasn't as good as last year's probably because the butterscotch schnapps was a different brand); some Bailey's mixed with vanilla extract or something; some Pina Colada that Jenn made. Also tried a bit of Craig M's Blackthorn (fermented apple cider?). That's about it. I didn't drink enough to even get tipsy. Why? Because I realize I do not enjoy alcohol all that much. So I meant when I said I won't drink much if at all at parties from now on. It's just better that way. Besides, even a lil bit of alcohol makes me sleepy XD
Hmm, Craig M had brought his iTouch. Listened to music, some dance and some rock/metal. Interesting mix on Pandora haha. Especially while playing Apples to Apples. So fun XD
Haha at one point, Craig M knocked over all my Skittles XP So sad. Helped him collect Skittles off the carpet. Drinks weren't spilled until the last hour or so of the party XD Well, actually, I guess Sabrina, Shiva's roommate, knocked over her cup of milk or tea or something on the couch before the party started :P But anyway, yeah, sticky.
It was raining outside at 5 in the morning when the last couple of people left. Harrison and Alisa escorted Jenn home because she had to walk over a block. Not safe in downtown, especially at that time -nodnod- Apparently, Harrison ended up sleeping in his SUV for the night XP because he promised Alisa he wouldn't drive home.
Shiva and I wiped down all the surfaces before we went to bed. We were sooo tired x_x
Saturday, some more cleaning. Went to Target with Marian and Sabrina. Back to Shiva's. Didn't really do much. Didn't have the motivation -_- Somehow, we went to bed at 2 in the morning. Sunday morning, I didn't want to get up, even though Shiva was telling me to get up, so that we could study. Got up too late. Mother called around noon, saying she was gonna stop by campus to pick me up /: No studying done this past weekend. My fault, sorry.
Today was all right. Went to PHIL 57 to see if the prof finished grading the midterms, but he hadn't. So I stayed in class, looking up classes I might want for next semester. I get to enroll on November 17, nine days after registration opens :O So early. Must be my prospective senior status. Sweet.
When I went to Shiva's place, we kinda compared classes we wanted. We're probably gonna take our research methods classes together. Maybe Criminology, but the choice of instructors and times suck -_- We'll see what will happen with that. I'm probably gonna take Global Society next semester, since Prof Cox will be teaching all three sections that are offered; well, hopefully, the Sociology department doesn't switch profs around -_-
Oh, and it seems that the majority of Sociology courses offered next semester will be Tuesday/Thursday classes D: So far the three classes I know I want to take for sure are Tuesday/Thursday; two of which are back-to-back. If I decide to take Criminology on TTh, then I'll have four classes back-to-back two days a week, and two free days. Could I survive that kind of schedule? I have no idea. Probably not. That's like six hours of classes with three fifteen-minute breaks in between.
I'm also planning to take an online Philosophy course about computers XD That would be awesome. I wanted to take that this semester, but the class filled up really quickly before I got a chance to sign up. It seems that the prof for the online course is much much better (more helpful) than the other prof who teaches in a classroom.
Also may take an elective instead of Criminology, which I need for my major. Elective for SJSU Studies (The Phil course about computers fulfills one of the electives here). Either Human Sexuality or Sound & Communication.
Or I could take another Sociology course for my major. Quite a list I have: Social Change, LGBT Studies, Socialization & Identity, Sexualities...
So, yeah, four or five classes next semester. If I feel crazy enough, I might go for six. But for now, I'm aiming for five. Can't wait to choose and enroll. Hope I get my first choices.
And whoa, I can't believe there's only about five weeks of classes left and then finals week. So faaast :O Still need to do two research papers and stuff. I mean, my philosophy of religion paper is due the week of Thanksgiving, and two weeks after, it's the last week of classes. Ahhh, I hope next semester doesn't go this fast because I wanna enjoy and savor (haha) Shiva's last semester at SJSU -nodnodnodnod- Happy and sad.....
Mm, oh so there's gonna be two long weekends this month, yay! Veterans' Day weekend and Thanksgiving weekend. Woot woot! haha just thought I'd let you know. Though, I guess I'll have a lot of work to do during Veterans' Day weekend /: But Thanksgiving weekend should be free of most work; I hope so.
Anyway, that's all for now. I'm tired, falling asleep. Should go to bed soon. Hope people vote tomorrow XP Ok, good night!

Great America's Halloween Haunt
Last Saturday, I went to the Halloween Haunt with mostly members of Q&A (Shiva, Billy, Matt, Nichols, Justin, Ash, Jason, Michelle, Crystal, Karishma, Thien, Thien's friend, Vivi, Steven). Met up with Q&A members from other colleges. Except I didn't interact with any of them XP
Went through the Slaughterhouse with Q&A members. Held Shiva's hand through it because she wanted to witness me getting scared. But it didn't really happen XP Oh, Luis, a member of QTIP, was the last ghoul we all saw in the maze. He did like a kinda dance or something XD And apparently, Billy gave him a hug, even though the talent (performers) and customers aren't supposed to have physical contact with each other.
I think Steven bought a plastic light-up, double-blade sword. Or he looked at it. I don't remember. As the group headed past the electric chair (that was interesting; made me think interesting things), Shiva decided she wanted to go back and watch the Fangs performance. So she and I left the group to go back toward the Slaughterhouse. Went inside the theater or whatever it is. Hannah met up with us in there. The musical was ok. I didn't think the singers were that great >_> Only recognized one song, which was "Psycho" by Puddle of Mudd.
After, the three of us headed over toward The Grizzly 'cause that's where Q&A went. They had just gotten off the ride when we arrived. Shiva was sad because she wanted to go on it. So Ash agreed to go on the ride again with her :) Everyone else wanted to go on Drop Zone -_- I did not. So I went with Hannah to Werewolf Canyon. Waited in a really loooong line -_- We got to talking about Halloween and other stuff. It was interesting conversation.
I learned that the performers inside the mazes get heckled and harassed a lot ): Wtf? People are paying to come in to bother the workers -_- What assholes. Hannah told me about a time she was working in one of the mazes. A guy and two girls came through. So she scared them. Then the girls started humping her -_- and then the guy started bumping her, saying "Huh, huh. Whatchu want? Whatchu gonna do?" and stuff like that. When they left, Hannah notified the (I forgot what they're called) people dressed in black who stand silently in the darkness with flashlights, and the three problem children were tossed out of Halloween Haunt :) Yay, happy endings.
Anyway, when we were close to the front, Shiva texted me and said that everyone else wanted to meet up with us or something. So spent a while giving directions. Mostly, it was Hannah who gave directions 'cause she's better at it haha. Eventually, everyone gave up on trying to find Werewolf Canyon XD except Shiva :3 So Hannah and I waited at the front of the line until Shiva arrived. One of the managers had been standing at the front of the line and told us we were cutting >_> We were just like "Oh? Really? That's cutting? We were just waiting for our friend to catch up to us..." But anyway, we got in. Fun maze :P
After Werewolf Canyon, we went to Carn Evil, Cornstalkers (because Hannah's boyfriend was supposed to be working, but sadly we came when he was on break), and Toy Factory.
All of these mazes were interesting haha. I can't say I was genuinely scared, but it was fun listening to other people scream >_> I remember in Carn Evil (yay for glowy-ness :D), people behind us were too freaked out so they started dancing and singing. Apparently, I was also moving too slow, so they passed us. I liked staring at all the creepy costumes, especially when they're not moving. Then you can try figure out which ones are actually people and which are props.
I think the last thing the three of us did was go on Drop Zone T-T I didn't wanna gooo. But in the end, while I was waiting in line with Shiva and Hannah, I decided I would. For Shiva XP
Took off my hat, my shoes, and other stuff. The ride was really quick. The slow ride up built up my anxiety T-T According to Shiva, I was saying, "This is soo high! DX" Though, I thought she was the only one saying that, not me. When the ride clicked at the top, all I thought was "Oh shit! What the fuck am I doing? In two seconds, this thing is gonna dro--" Drop ;-; I tried really hard to curl up into a ball with the harness in the way. I think I was also holding Shiva's hand haha XP Haha apparently, the ride pushed the air out of her lungs, making her yell. Hannah, on the other hand, just yelled for fun XP I didn't yell or scream. I can't.
I was so happy when the ride was over haha. Glad to be alive. Though my head didn't feel all that great anymore @_@ and I was kinda shaky. Seriously, that ride scared me more than all the mazes combined T-T I can't believe Shiva wants me to go on a whole bunch of roller coasters with her. Will I do it? ;-; I might.
I think we were all done and ready to leave about thirty minutes after midnight. Hannah left us to go pick up her boyfriend. Shiva and I reunited with the Q&A members :P
I was exhausted XP Lots of walking around that night. Then off to Denny's, yay. I don't remember much from Denny's. My brain wanted to shut off XD I had fallen asleep in Michelle's car on the drive to Denny's, so yeah haha.
I may have fallen asleep again going back to campus, but I don't remember XD
Saturday night was fun, but I don't remember too much. I do know I want to go to haunted places now haha.
Anyway, slept over at Shiva's. Waking up on Sunday was good. Then sad stuff happened in the afternoon ): but we're good now. Went home that night. Didn't get that much work done that weekend XP Baaad.
This past week has been all right. Monday, I skipped my 100W class 'cause my head wasn't feeling good. Followed Shiva to Prof Cate's Human Sexuality class at 10h30. I wanna take this class o: Anyway, we went there, met up with Alisa, Mackenzie, and Billy. Yay for queer panels. Sasha came soon after. I joined in on the class, sat in the audience. Just wanted to see how a queer panel works. I'm not that comfortable with talking to a large group of strangers about me, so I just sat back and paid attention. Next time, I might join a panel. But yeah, it was good and informative. Learn things about people's opinions and experiences. I was quite surprised to find out that none of the speakers had ever been subjected to hate crimes or anything close. But I'm also glad.
Well, that's that. I feel like these weeks are passing by so quickly. I don't remember half of what I do -_- It's sad. What's going on?
Half my semester is over already. Next semester's class schedule comes out November 1st. This is just crazy fast.
Mm, what else?
I don't have to show up to my 100W class for the next three weeks; instead, I show up to Brook's office on Monday for a fifteen-minute research paper conference, and that's it.
Tuan wants to go watch Saw VII as a group like back in high school. This time, we will try to make it happen. I wouldn't mind catching up with the guys.
Shiva's having a get-together thing at her dorm on Friday :)
I dunno what else I've got planned other than taking last midterms, keeping up with readings and such, and writing papers for my classes -_- Two research papers. Not fun ): I dislike research papers sooo much. I feel slightly overwhelmed and like I'm falling behind in school T-T Just need to last another eight or so weeks. I can do this.
Mm, I wish I had something more substantial to say about my life, but what can I say? It's going all right. I spend most of my time on campus with Shiva. I stay up too late on most nights. But I get my work done on time somehow o_o
Blah. I want to remember more of my day-to-day life. Meh. C'est la vie, eh?
Went through the Slaughterhouse with Q&A members. Held Shiva's hand through it because she wanted to witness me getting scared. But it didn't really happen XP Oh, Luis, a member of QTIP, was the last ghoul we all saw in the maze.

First half of October 2010 is a blur...
Saturday, October 2: Spirit of Japantown Festival. Went with Shiva and Marian. Ran into some friends here and there. Had a snow cone thing from the Manju shop. So tasty. Snow cap and azuki beans! XD
Monday, October 4, I think Shiva and I went to the Great Mall. Was really hot that day.
Don't really remember what I've been doing. That's not new XP
Shiva's netbook died last Thursday (Oct 7) ): It was a sad day. Computer Services at SJSU isn't all that good >_> Very slow. They said they'd work on her netbook immediately, and two days later they still hadn't started.
They managed to recover only about 16% of her D drive ): Backed it up on my external drive. Been letting Shiva borrow my netbook. Mother has been wondering when I'll get my computer back haha. I'm just like "whenever my friend doesn't need it anymore."
Sunday, October 10, there was a Queer Dance Committee meeting. I'm actually participating in something. Or trying to. Came up with dance theme ideas and such. Was interesting. No Lady GaGa themes. I would never go to such a thing -_-
But yeah, seems like the Queer Dance of this semester will either be on the last day of semester (Dec 9) or in late February. Hope it's this semester. Would really like to reward myself for getting through this semester. Even though, finals would be the week after -_-
Monday, October 11, was National Coming Out Day. I forgot about it >_> Missed the bbq that the LGBT Resource Center hosted. Oops.
The Dalai Lama came to campus on Wednesday the 13th. Forgot about that too. But there was a lot of security around the Event Center that day -nods-
Today, I went to campus to hang out with Shiva. We and Marian L went to Fry's to buy a hard drive and other stuff. Then to In N Out in Santa Clara. Had some trouble finding our way back, but we did it. Back to campus for a QTIP officer meeting. I'm not an officer, but I'm kinda involved >_> It's weird. I don't know.
Meeting: Pushing for the queer dance to be at the end of this semester. Wanting to change the direction of the club. Planning to change QTIP's name to something more social and less activist, more easily recognized yet maybe less frightening/overly flamboyant (in terms of rainbowy-ness). Problem is the name QTIP already has a reputation. Changing it would mean we'd have to kinda start over but not really...
I'm pretty sure a lot has been going on with me lately, but I just can't recall much of anything. Just a lot of Shiva time XD
Ooh, going to Great America's Halloween Haunt tomorrow with Q&A :D Can't wait. $25 with the group discount. Awesome. Haven't been to a haunted thing before. So I hope it's good. Gonna see a bunch of performances, go through mazes, go on rides, and more.
Tomorrow morning, Mother and D wanna go to Half Moon Bay to check out California's largest pumpkin. So I'll probably go with them to see that. Then I'll get dropped off on campus to get a ride to Great America later in the day.
So many heat waves. In the middle of October D: It makes me sad T-T Do not want heat. Want cold. Where's the cold? Supposed to be a lil bit cooler tomorrow. Supposedly rain on Sunday. We'll see.
Anyway, should get started on a paper for my 100W class. Shiva wants me to do it now >_< She's right. I shouldn't be so lazy and distracted and such.
Hope you're having a good semester/quarter/October/etc.... Ok, bye!

Wow, I've gone through five weeks of school already...
That's crazy. Means there's only eleven weeks left of school.
What's been happening with me? Not too much. Been hanging out with Shiva and sleeping over on weekends. Just lots of chill times.
Heading into midterms. Had my first one for PHIL 57 (Logic & Critical Thinking) on Wednesday. A quick one, yay. I have three more. Haha I have two midterms in each of my 9am classes and no midterms in my 10:30am classes. Next midterm on Tuesday for SOCI 101 (Social Theory). I'm worried about this one. I'm not quite sure my brain has absorbed much information from that class ): After that, I wait about another three weeks until my second PHIL midterm and then SOCI midterm. Then about month later, I have three finals o_o
Lots and lots of papers. Not really. Feels like it though. I have a research outline due next week for SOCI 100W (Writing Workshop). Got a mini paper due for PHIL 109 (Philosophy of Religion) too. Week after, I have a paper due for 100W. And the week after that, I have my first draft for the research paper due for the same class. Two weeks after that, I have a SOCI 101 paper due on my birthday and a PHIL 109 paper due two days later. Second draft due two weeks after that. Final paper for PHIL 109 due a week later. Three weeks later, my research paper (8-12 pages) is due on the last day of class. Might also do a third paper for SOCI 101.
That probably isn't that much work, but I'm lazy and I'm not used to doing that much outside writing in a semester -_- Darn upper divisions XP haha. But I know I can do it. I have an awesome support system :P
Anyway, the past two weeks have gone by fast. I think if I get through the semester (or my life) day by day and week by week, it will fly by real fast. It seems to be doing that right now. It's crazy how I didn't really talk to that many people just a year ago. I joined QTIP and Q&A around this time. I met Harrison a year ago yesterday (we remembered!). And I (probably) met Shiva a year ago next Wednesday.
Haha that reminds me. Shiva and I have been trying to figure out the actual date of when we met. We don't actually remember. Managed to narrow down the possible dates to 9/29 and 10/6. Most likely the latter. Cannot remember anything from the QTIP meeting except that it was our first encounter. Day did not register in my head, and I didn't blog about it ): It's obviously because neither of us thought the other was gonna become an important part of her life x3 Wish I had a better memory or put more details into my blog XP
But yeah, it's interesting how things work out in just a year o_o So crazy, strange, weird, exciting, unexpected, etc etc....
But anyway, back to the last two weeks... I don't really remember too much because I haven't been blogging XP I should try, but eh -shrug-
Slept over at Shiva's the past two weekends. Chillaxing and getting some stuff done.
Two weekends ago... Well, I don't really remember anything other than sleeping over. I remember Shiva was not very productive. Well, nor was I.
Last weekend, I slept over Friday and Saturday. Friday, she, Brian, and I went to the BlueLight Cinema in Cupertino to watch "Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World." It has been such a long time since the three of us have chilled together. It's sad. But Brian is now busy with classes and SAE stuff ): No time for Shiva and me anymore. You don't love us anymore, do you, Brian? Anyway, the movie was good. I give it a 7/10. It was entertaining. Definitely made me laugh. The graphics were awesome and very reminiscent of the video and arcade games I used to play. Lots of weird corny things haha. I give the movie a 7, however, because it felt like something was missing. I dunno. I can't explain it. Maybe I just don't like corny comedies all that much anymore XP
Saturday was the day of the Student Organization Leadership Conference (SOLC). I represented QTIP and Q&A as a group member for both. Sign in with Crystal and Shiva. Intro session was meh, ok. Learned stuff about drinking on campus. Then had a selection of workshops to attend (required to attend one during each of the three sessions). Followed Crystal to all three sessions. Lunch was a sandwich, but I didn't eat. Nor did Shiva ): Anyway, at the end of the conference, turned in paper stuff and got a free T-shirt. I like it :)
That night, Shiva and I attended Matt C's birthday celebration in his and Mackenzie's dorm. Lots of alcohol and juice. And chicken. Most people were there already. Some already got started on drinking. Shiva and I stayed for about an hour and a half. No drinking for us. Needed to go get stuff done and sleep. Played "Ten Fingers." At first, I didn't know what that was about, but then I realized it was "Never Have I Ever." No alcohol involved in this game. And there were negatives (I got -2; Shiva had like -12 or something). Some of the never's were disgusting or just blehh XP Sex in public places, golden showers, rimming, hot plate. Learned way too much about some people. And haha, oh, Billy XD His reaction to stuff was so funny.
Sang the birthday song twice to Matt. Snickerdoodle cake (do not like). Left the party at like 11pm. Sleep sometime after midnight.
Mm, yesterday, I went to a Vietnamese American group discussion thing. My AAS prof was there. So were another professor and four or five other students. One person talked to me about linguistic etiquette because I addressed her as "Co" (how one addresses a female who is several years older, or at least that's how I learned it) instead of "Chi" (how one addresses a female who slightly older, like an older sister). I thought I had said something wrong, but apparently I just made her feel old <_< I didn't know; I personally do not notice age. I address almost all older Vietnamese females as "Co" unless it is apparent what their age is in relation to me.
Anyway, the group talked about how to communicate with Viet parents. It was interesting and informative. I think I actually started the discussion with my question (How do I explain my Sociology major to my mom?). Eventually, we touched on topics such as how to explain education decisions and dating, specifically interracial dating. It seems everyone in that room who was dating or married was in an interracial relationship o: How fascinating. Surprising. Usually, Viet people (at least many of the ones I've known) tend to date other Viets. Also, I've never seen anyone who was half Viet and half Filipino before yesterday XD
Random: I always try to think of the weirdest racial mix (in pairs) that I can. But it gets harder every time I try XP I used to think being half Irish and half Korean would be a weird mix. Or half Indian and half anything else... XD I was a strange person, I know. So racist too. Now, I'm just thinking there's probably all types of racial mixing; I just haven't met many of them yet. But yeah, done with the tangent.
SJSU Job & Internship Fair yesterday. Shiva refrained from hugging or kissing me ): Why? Because I didn't make a resume the night before. She had given me an ultimatum: either I make a resume or she wouldn't touch me for a whole day. I didn't make the resume. So she kept her word T-T Made me sad. But the career fair was interesting. There were A LOT of Indian people there. Some lines were like exclusively Indian haha XD Mostly the Engineering and Business companies and organizations. Shiva and I checked out a few tables. She signed up for the Peace Corps stuff and got a free bag :P Then we checked out the CIA (woo! Free stuff: post-its, mini flashlight, hand sanitizer, and a lanyard), City Year, Seneca Center, Coaching Corps, EPA (neither of us actually qualify for much, and one lady's hair reminded us of 80's hair XD it was pretty awesome), and Burson Marsteller (the rep helped Shiva improve her resume). Lots of mentoring programs. I'm kinda considering them >_> But I gotta wait till I get my degree first. Then I can take time off from schooling and go join a yearlong mentoring/teaching program that pays a living stipend and helps with scholarship money for graduate school.
We also went to the KOHL's table on a whim at the end. Shiva talked to the lady a bit. The lady asked her what her major was. When Shiva told her, the lady's smile stopped and twitched, and then she said something like "That's not even close to retail." I dunno. Shiva and I left, laughing but thinking that lady was just rude.
Ooh, so I was heading home yesterday after the QTIP meeting was over at 7:30pm. Walked with Craig toward the light rail. Passed Harrison and an acquaintance of his. I didn't notice because I was all caught up in the conversation with Craig. Anyway, on the light rail home, when we stopped at the Convention Center, the light rail driver announced over the PA to passengers to get their passes ready to be checked. As soon as the doors opened, Harrison bolted from the light rail across the street. His friend and I didn't know where he was going. Thought he was gonna stop across the street, so we got off the light rail. But he kept running. Some other dude also ran away from the light rail. Security people (12 of them?) had been waiting on the platform. A new ticket-checking method: check point.
Security people tried to chase the other guy, yelling at him to stop running, but he got away.
Friend and I found out Harrison ran all the way to the next stop, Children's Discovery Museum XD So we waited for the next light rail, though we realized we could have walked to the next stop before the light rail ever came. And every time a light rail passed by, the friend would get excited and wait to see if anyone ran. Honestly, I have never seen anyone run from light rail people before (well, except Harrison on the night that we met on the light rail hahaha).
Back on the light rail, there were a couple of people complaining about the tickets 'cause they got tickets and others didn't.
T-T !! Ahhh, I just hit my funny bone really hard T-T It buuuurns!! My forearm and my pinky tingled, I tasted the bitterness of the pain, and then the tingly parts burned T-T aahhh...
Anyway, blah. My brain, grr... Memory is shot @_@ I feel like I'm remembering fewer and fewer details as the days go by. All I can recall are general feelings that I've had. Details are just sketchy -_-
Hm, Q&A events to look forward to:
10/11 - BBQ
10/-- - Halloween Haunt at Great America
10/-- - Queer Homecoming
11/3 - UCSC Queer Pin@y Conference
11/8 - Thanksgiving Potluck
12/2 - Hot Chocolate & S'mores
Not sure I got the right dates, but yeah.
Other things to look forward to? I don't really know. Can't think of anything at the moment.
How's life been for y'all, eh? Good, I hope. My life has been all right, a bit on the happier side lately. Have had a few sad days, but I've got someone special helping me up :3
But anyway, yeah, life is all right. Still not that fond of the semester, but I won't complain too much. I just need to not put things off so much, but I already have. So sad. I hope next semester won't be this bad.
What else? Hmm, I've been meaning to update the blog, but I just forget and do other stuff. Sad. Blogging is not a big part of my life anymore. I'm actually staying off the computer for most of the day XD Yay!
Uhh, ok, I should get back to work and then go to bed haha. Been staying up too late every day for non-productive reasons. Hmm... Wonder what I'm doing this weekend...
Mm ^^ I ramble too much. In my head. I don't know what to type T-T
What's been happening with me? Not too much. Been hanging out with Shiva and sleeping over on weekends. Just lots of chill times.

September is going by so fast...
and I don't feel like I have anything to say... >_>
Can't believe three and a half weeks of the semester have already passed o_o
School has been annoying me. Don't really know why, but something about school is irksome. I thought maybe after a month of school, I'd get back into the rhythm of things. But I honestly don't feel that way. I'm keeping up with my work stuff, but I feel like I'm falling behind.
I feel like something's up with me. My brain is not retaining information. And I've been rereading things. Not really taking notes in my classes. My mind zones out when I'm taking notes. But if I stop writing, just sit, and listen, I feel like more things come into my head. Though, I'm not sure any of it is staying in there.
My PHIL 57 is a bit too boring. I don't feel like I'm learning anything new, probably because I've learned about arguments and fallacies already o_o I don't pay much attention in this class. Can't hear the professor. And what I do hear, I already know. I think I have a paper to write for this class, but Prof Bashaw hasn't mentioned it yet.
SOCI 100W, boring too. Again, I don't feel like I'm learning anything new. All I'm really thinking about for this class are the research paper, the values socialization paper, the oral presentation, and maybe the final. And I don't think Prof Brook likes my class all that much. Most of the time, none of us talk. Unless he decides to make it clear that participation is a part of our grades. Even then, only three or four people speak up -shrug- I don't feel like there's anything relevant for me to contribute to the discussion, if we can even call it that.
SOCI 101 is all right. Prof Rudy is interesting, and he tries to keep the topic interesting. Reading and learning about Marx, Engels, Durkheim, and now Weber. I also have that class with Shiva :) so she kinda makes me focus. No crossword puzzles T-T Though, she's always poking me or something XP Distracting me. How mean. You can poke me, but you won't let me figure out the crossword. Mm, working on a two-page analysis/reflection paper for this class. At least one more this semester. And some in-class quote recitation thing. First exam in a little over two weeks. Can't wait >_>
PHIL 109 is all right. Still kinda slow-paced. And I don't think I'm gonna write very well for this class (or any class really). The last paper I turned in for the class was just crap -_- I don't contribute to the discussions much, but they are thought-provoking. Keep me awake usually. I have a research paper for this class too. And three more mini-papers and an oral presentation. The readings we're doing on the existence of God are interesting, but I'm getting lost in all the explanations and reasoning.
Anyway, two more weeks and September will be over... So fast. Feels like it only started last week. Twelve weeks left, plus the week of finals... How sad, I'm already checking to see when semester ends... Hmm, I have three finals. One on a Monday, one on a Thursday, and one on a Friday (last day of finals). Supposed to have two on that Friday, but Prof Giddings doesn't give finals. Hmm, oh what fun to be had at the end of semester.
I really wish I only needed to take like two courses a semester. I wouldn't mind staying in school longer if that were the case. I know I'm just lazy, but I don't like how easily stressed I get from school now. Makes me wonder... What am I stressing myself out for really?
So, I've been hanging out with Shiva just about every day, except for maybe one day a week. Would probably explain why I don't update this blog often anymore XD I'm either in class or with Shiva. Why would I waste time on the computer? :P
Feels like a lot has been happening these past two weeks, but really I don't know what's been going on.
There was Gamba Karaoke with QTIP and Q&A on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. I went with Shiva, Billy, Alisa, Matt, Nichols, and Justin. Only seven of us, not a bad turnout. Lasted about two hours. Went back to campus with Shiva; Billy gave us a ride. Stayed over at Shiva's for the weekend :) Fun times. Had a movie night with Harrison. Watched "The Losers" and "Fight Club." Mm.
Slept over at Shiva's again this past weekend. Unexpected. Was eating out at a restaurant with Mother and D. Mother asked if I wanted to go to campus and then asked if I was going to sleep over o_o I'm surprised she let me. Mm, I think we hung out with Harrison again. And Marian. But I don't remember >_> I don't really remember anything from last weekend other than sleeping over at Shiva's.
Then this weekend, Mother again asked me if I was going to sleep over. I said no. But who knows? Plans can pop up.
Also, this weekend, swimming tomorrow, maybe. Dance in Transit tomorrow and Sunday. 11AM to 5PM both days. Performers performing along light rail route in downtown. Would be interesting to see.
Next Saturday, I'm probably attending SJSU's Student Organization Leadership Conference. Member reppin' Q&A :P It's gonna take up my whole day practically. So I hope I get most of my work done before then. Also, Saturday will be Matt's birthday celebration. I guess I'll attend that too, if I'm already gonna be on campus :)
Anyway, that's all I can really think of right now. Probably a lot more stuff to do, but I'm just not thinking that much. Should probably get to work on my reflection that's due on Tuesday. Must get head start on a few things. No procrastinating, but I probably will XD but I guess my procrastination isn't too bad yet.
But meh, I still can't shake this burnt-out feeling I have.
And my mind/brain is pissing me off. Things I used to remember, I cannot recall anymore. I don't remember much of what I do anymore either. Like what I did last weekend... Or even what I did yesterday other than going to classes, chilling with Shiva, and attending Q&A. I'm probably just not getting enough sleep. That could explain it. I have been taking naps though, but I don't know how much those help.
Blah, ok. Work. Or maybe ice cream, hmm...

5 months...
So Brother changed his jail sentence from two months inside and eight months outside in a program (40 hrs/wk) to five months inside and no program. So he's getting out January 23.
So he's gonna be locked up for his birthday, my birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. He's basically gone for a whole school semester for me.
I don't know how I feel about this.
But anyway, this means Brother's stuff must be moved back into our garage -_- again. Probably will do so in two or three weekends. Mother is gonna hire Mexicans who stand in front of Home Depot to help move the bed frame and mattress, heavy stuff o_o I offered to ask my friends to help, but she refused. She doesn't want my friends to know about Brother's situation.
I tried to reason with her: I don't have to tell my friends anything about Brother. All I have to say is we need help moving things. Getting help from my friends would be a bit cheaper, I think. My friends are bit more trustworthy than strangers are.
Anyway, I'll try to ask friends anyway. Know any guys who could carry bed frame parts and a mattress down a set of stairs?
Blah, this week has been tiring... Make me want to keep sleeping every morning. Which I could do on Mondays and Wednesdays, I guess. But I won't.
First QTIP meeting of Fall '10 today. Small turnout for a first meeting. But it's understandable, what with the day and time changes. And the student organization fair was today as well.
Wasn't able to check out any of it though ): Mother wanted me to come home early so that I could stay home while she went to buy groceries at the Viet market. But turns out she decided to go out and buy stuff while I was at school. So I got home for no existing reason. I was peeved at first, but then I didn't care. Ate lunch and stuff. Went back to campus. Hung out with Shiva, of course. We went to the Sociology orientation thing. Kinda informative, but I didn't really learn anything I didn't already figure out for myself before >_>
Back to the meeting. Five or six new faces. Woo! Announcements, planned stuff...
BB Open House tomorrow. Dunno if I'm going to that. Maybe. Maybe not. Probably not. I kinda wanna go home after Q&A. I might do that if I'm really tired then.
Bowling tomorrow night. I would like to go, but I can't 'cause it's late. Mother would kill me 'cause it's so early in the semester to be doing stuff on a weeknight. Besides, Shiva won't be there XP
Karaoke this Saturday. I wish to go. I hope I can go.
Movie/cinema the following Thursday. I wish to go to that as well.
Btw, KAT! We never went to karaoke T-T OR LUNCH!
Yeah, nothing too exciting happening lately. Just trying to keep my head up. But it's hard. My head just keeps rolling over, and my brain shuts off. So sad -_- You don't know how many times I've dozed off in class and at home this week so far haha.
OK, that's all. Time for sleeeep.

Second day of Fall 2010
Short entry...
SOCI 101 at 9 with P Rudy. Was ok. Small class, kinda. Lots of reading and writing, woo. Taking this class with Shiva. So I will have some help :D
PHIL 109 with J Giddings. Had her before. She's awesome. I was almost late to class 'cause Prof Rudy let the class out kinda late. The clock in that classroom is late by almost five minutes -_-
Anyway, went to DMH to see if I could add SOCI 116 with C Cox. Chill prof. Full class. At least twelve people wanting to add. Stayed in class until the end when Prof Cox addressed the adds. I'm last on the list. Probably won't get the class. Should email the prof of the philosophy class I want to add too.
If I don't get either class, I'm not gonna care. I feel overwhelmed right now. I couldn't even focus on much today, nor did I yesterday. I feel like this should be a semester that I take off. I need a break. Feel like too many things happening at once, and my body just wants to slow everything down.
I don't get it. Summer ended pretty well. But starting school just doesn't feel right. I'm bothered. Kinda agitated by things. I feel like school is gonna piss me off very soon. I feel like a lot of things are gonna piss me off in the next few months. I just don't get it.
Brother is going back to Elmwood tomorrow morning (getting out in two months, sometime near his birthday). I don't really wanna go along. But I probably will. I dunno. They have moved some of his stuff back into my room. Great. Do I care? Does my opinion even count in this matter? No. I don't even go in my room all that much anymore. Do I even need my fuckin' room? No. Should just make it into a storage room. Like we used to when we first moved into a house.
Why are there so many fuckin' ants on my desk?
Blah.
I was angry when I went home. I didn't want to talk to Mother or Brother. But I tried. It was difficult. Brother didn't make it any easier 'cause he was getting all pissy at me. For what? I don't even know.
Now, I'm just mellowing out. Still not feeling really good. I'm kinda feeling like I wanna go to sleep and not wake up. But I need to wake up. I have homework and readings to get through. Fun.
What is with me today? Blah.
